Phillip Albion Sauvageot

Phillip Albion Sauvageot 51, of Follansbee, WV died peacefully on Sunday, July 6, 2025, with his loving family and friends by his side under the care of Ohio Valley Hospice, Steubenville, OH.
He was born October 16,1973 in Wheeling WV a son of the late Artie Harold Sauvageot and Patricia (Sperringer) Sauvageot. He is proceeded in death by his Father Artie Sauvageot April 5,2025, in addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Howard Rusell (Bud) Mary Teresa (McGonigal) Sauvageot, of Florida and Thearl Albion (Red) Sperringer and Helen Marion (Litva) of Wellsburg, WV, his four uncles, John H. 2001 Richard 1950, Matthew Brett 2001, Dean Luke 2019 and a sister in-law Sherri Sauvageot 2019, Uncle Dale Sperringer 2002 and Aunt Carolyn Sperringer 2024, Aunt Gloria Pramesa 2024.
He was a Graduate of Brooke High School Class of 1992 and was a Certified nursing assistant. He was a former employee of Tri Area Amusement Co. and worked at Jodees in Weirton.
He had a heart of gold, loved spending time with his family, enjoyed cooking and had a green thumb. He loved his pets and spoiling his Dogs especially Tank. He was an animal activist, loved the beach, and was a world traveler.
He leaves behind his companion Jim Salakouvich and friend Jodi Link, a loving Brother C. Scott and wife Janeen Follansbee, Two Sisters Latricia N. Utt husband Shawn Weirton, and Penny L. Durbin husband Steve Follansbee, Uncle Mark Sauvageot Connecticut, three half-Uncles Sean, Jason, Tyson Sauvageot and Step Grandma Patti Moore White of Floridia, Uncles, Richard Sperringer, Astor, Florida and Terry Sperringer, Canonsburg Pa., Uncle Wayne and Aunt Sylvia Taylor, Wellsburg WV, nieces and nephews, Gavin Utt and girlfriend Grace Barmore and Gage Utt girlfriend Bella Swiger their son Cooper, Kaitlyn, Claire Sauvageot, Madison and Brody Durbin, Tiffany (Sauvageot)and Derik Kilmer and, Tasha (Sauvageot) Curtis Henline, Cassidy Sauvageot companion Jay Blackmore, their daughter Amira, Zachary Sauvageot, his BFF Cousin Suzette Pramesa Huggins, and
many special cousins also survive.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 3pm until the time of a Liturgy of the Word service at 7pm at Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles Street, Wellsburg, WV with Father Gerald Muoka, Celebrant.
