He was a dear friend, in addition to being a fine Chiropractor. I've been a Widow for many years; and Dr. Shouppe was considerate of me and my various ailments. God Says that all of us are to be extra caring for Widows and Orphans. I can't speak for other Widows; or for Orphans; but I do believe that I'll see my Brother, Phillip, in Heaven, when I get there.

Cannot believe it is coming on 3 years. Still miss Dr. Shouppe muchly. Not just a chiropractor but my therapist also. Always interested in what I and my family were doing. I go around the house breathing like Dr. Shouppe did and my husband asks, "What's wrong? Are you OK?" Still do the bends in the shower. God bless you, Sally, and all of the family.

Dear Sally and family,

Just this morning when calling to make an appointment, I found out that Dr. Shouppe had passed away. I am so very sorry and quite in shock. I've read the comments left by others, and they say it all. I've known him for 30 years. Not just a doctor, a family man who cared for you as though you were his only patient, always had a sunny word, a therapist who caused you to leave with a smile, asked about my whole family. There is not another like him and will greatly be missed. Loved hearing about your adventures, seeing all of your pictures on the walls. We prayed together when 9/11 happened, he and the office staff included. Precious, precious memories. My condolences and prayers for your whole family--we will see each other again.
Sincerely,
Evelyn Warner

I only found out about Dr. Shouppe's passing today. I'm sorry, Miss Sally; & for all y'all's family.
I first met Dr. Shouppe in Jan. of 2008; moving back to the Gulf Coast, I needed a Chiropractor close to my new home. I'd never had a Dr. I could joke with like Dr. Shouppe. Even when the times weren't so funny, he always had a wise, compassionate word for me. He was more than my Dr. and a good friend; he IS my Brother-In-Christ. I'll see you on the other side, Doc.

Dr. Shouppe was a remarkable Doctor and person. This untimely passing has absolutely broken our hearts. We cannot even imagine what his family and his patients are feeling. What a tremendous loss our community has faced with his passing. We can only be comforted with the fact that he is now receiving his eternal reward in the arms of our most Gracious, Glorious and Loving God. At the present, we may not understand why God decided to bring him home so soon but we can rest knowing he is at peace and with our Lord and Savior and we will one day see him again. May the Lord be with his family and all of his patients. God Bless You.

I was a patient of Dr. Shouppe's last summer. He helped me to get back on track after an injury. He was a kind man and the girls in his office were great. We enjoyed talking about his travels with his wife, kids and grandchildren. I know he loved camping with his wife on weekends and bike riding. I almost stopped by last week to tell him I bought a bike after 40 yrs of not riding. I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many I'm sure. Rest In Peace. May God bless you during these sad times.

I remember the first time i saw Dr.Shouppe. I was skeptical of chiropractors but a friend convinced me that Dr Shouppe could help with my shoulder problem. I came to love my visits with Dr Shouppe and his staff. He was always full of life and enthusiastic about his adventures with Sally. He always encouraged me in my fitness journey and I could always tell he was proud of me . I will miss him and his sunny disposition . My prayers are with you and the office staff

My entire family loved Dr. Shouppe. My daughter Shannon had her first "real" job working for Dr. Shouppe when she was in college. No matter what frame of mind I was in, he was always positive, encouraging and a bright light. I left his office feeling better. He adored his wife and children and was excited to tell stories about Thomas. He told me I could always make him laugh. Our prayers covered Sally, Clint and Emily. We all were so blessed to have been recipients of his extraordinary gifts.

Mrs. Shouppe: I am so sorry for your loss. I was a patient of Dr. Shouppe's for a few years. I always enjoyed the photos he posted his walls about the trips he took with his family. He loved explaining your trips and his pride and love of family always came through. He especially enjoyed talking about Thomas. He was indeed a family man and this love was evident whenever he spoke of you all. which was often. I was miss him and his caring attitude, May God bless you all at this time.

Sally, I was so sad to hear about Phillip. There are many fond memories of you when i was director/teacher of the college and career group at FBC College Park, GA. And then later I got to know Phil (Phillip) who was such a fine young gentleman. May God bless you and your family, and give you peace and comfort. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
