Phillip Spurlock Obituary
Mr. Spurlock was born July 15, 1932, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Fred and Allie Mills Spurlock. He retired from Elk Yarn Mill after over 40 years of service. Glenn enjoyed history of Fayetteville and sharing that history with family and friends. He passed away February 19, 2025, at Elk River Health and Nursing Center of Fayetteville.
Survivors include his stepdaughters, Debbie (Dale) Winsett and Tammy Stovall (Tony Robinson) both of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Carrie (Eric) Lones, Kevin (Natalie) Winsett; 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Mr. Spurlock was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Tipps Spurlock; and his siblings and their spouses, Dorothy (Bernard) Gray, Belle (Edward) Gray, Wilma (John Wilson) Bedwell, Betty (Blakeley) Tipps, Vernon (Katherine) Spurlock, and Jackie Neal Spurlock.
