Funeral service for Phillip Matthew "Thew" Stringer, 42, will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ted Vafeas officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Stringer died on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was born March 15, 1982, in Morgan County to Phillip Dale Stringer and Rebecca Ann Smallwood Stringer.
Matt was a graduate of Hartselle High School and was a good family man and a wonderful father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his fianceé, Haley. He loved buying and selling gold and silver, loved sports, and was a die hard Auburn fan. He loved animals especially his dog "Patch", his cat "Cookie", and his parents dog, "Charlie, and he really enjoyed hunting. He was employed by AZIZ Oil as a maintenance technician, prior to his passing.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Blanche Smallwood, Arthur Smallwood, Gertrude Chunn and Orrin Stringer.

Fianceé - Haley Vinson
Five children- Makayla Shea Stringer
Jackson Matthew Stringer
Harrison Tate Stringer
Kallyn Matthew Stringer
Mia Elizabeth Key

Haley's parents: Allen and Missy Vinson
