Phillip Edwin Vickers

Phillip Edwin Vickers, age 73, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on August 9, 2024. Born on August 27, 1950, in Milton, West Virginia, Phillip was the son of Ernest W. Vickers Jr. and Ermalee Lilly Vickers, both of whom preceded him in death.
Phillip is survived by his children Krystal Danielle, Karri Ford, Nathan Vickers, Kayla Burns, Kevin Vickers-Pruet, Aryn Laws, and stepson Justin Smoot. He also leaves behind 14 beloved grandchildren.
A proud graduate of Milton High School, class of 1969, Phillip furthered his education in Computer Science at Marshall University. He dedicated his professional career to Information Security, serving as an Information Security Admin at Ashland Inc. from 1970 to 2008.
Phillip's passions included music, a deep appreciation for animals-especially birds-and a strong interest in technology. These interests were central to his life and brought him great joy.
