Phyllis Orfe, born Philomena Cenname passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 1st, 2025, from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and pneumonia at the age of 88 years old. Phyllis was a widow of 15 years and was survived by her family of 2 sons, 3 daughters, 2 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren Phyllis lived a blessed and happy life in Las Vegas for the last 45 years after moving from Westchester New York with her husband and 2 children. Phyllis was born in Mount Vernon, New York on January 27th, 1937, to John and Mary Cenname. She wed her high school sweetheart Louis Orfe who was also from Mount Vernon in 1958 and had a happy and great marriage raising their children. Louis passed away from cancer in 2010 and after Phyllis had many friends and family for support for the next 15 years but missed her husband until her dying day. Phyllis was a great mother, wife, and a loyal friend to many and will be missed by us all. We take comfort knowing she is now reunited with her parents, brother, and husband who are all know with the Lord.
