The two were married in 2003. Joy was known for her dedication to family, her creative and social skills, and elegant personal style. Joy was happiest when entertaining or spending time with others.
She was predeceased by her parents Robert E. Hartman and Martha (Snyder) Hartman, her sisters Ruby Yinger and Norma Jean Crone, by her first husband and father of her children Gordon E. Green, and by her late husband Edwin E Reiber.
