Phyllis Beske, 99 of Waupun passed away peacefully and entered her heavenly home on February 3, 2026.
Phyllis was born on August 10, 1926 in Nashwauk, MN the daughter of Archibald and Marie Olson. Phyllis grew up in northern Wisconsin and later moved to Waupun and graduated from Waupun High School. After graduating from Waupun High School, Phyllis embarked on a beautiful chapter of her life when she married Erwin Beske, on June 28, 1947. Together, they built a life in Waupun, where Phyllis devoted herself wholeheartedly to her role as a loving homemaker, raising four children with unwavering care and compassion.
Phyllis was not only a devoted wife and mother but also a lifelong member of Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun. Her active involvement with the church community included many years of service on the ladies aid, where she touched countless lives through her generosity and spirit.
Phyllis is survived by a son; Mike (Meg) Beske and their children, Erin (Bob) DeHart, Jon (Bethany) Beske, and Nate Beske; a daughter Kris (Terry) McEssy and their children, Katie (Matt) Hagen and Andrea (Todd) Norcross; a daughter Laurie (Tom) Donovan and their children, Lindsey Donovan, Michael (Alli) Donovan, and Makensey (Joe) Baumgardt; another daughter Kara (Tim) Tenpas and their children, Kellie (Jamie) Trepanier, Jennie (fiance Adam Kreul) Tenpas, and Morgan (Shawn) Montsma. She is further survived by 16 great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Shizuko Olson, and many other relatives and friends.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Erwin Beske; her parents, siblings Lee Olson, June (Eddie) Southard, and sister-in-law, Phyllis (Booty) Hendricks.
Funeral services for Phyllis will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Pella Lutheran Church in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at North Burnett Cemetery in Burnett.
