WESTON -- Phyllis E. Betz, 95, of Weston, Ohio passed away November 10, 2025. She was born August 18, 1930 in Sylvania, Ohio to the late Emil and Lola (Snyder) Buehrer. She married Robert "Bob" Betz and he preceded her in death.
Phyllis was a faithful member of Weston Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time crocheting, sewing, puzzles, playing BINGO and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved sitting on her front porch and riding her blue scooter around Weston.
Phyllis is survived by her children Connie (Melvin) Mehring and Gary Betz, grandchildren Diana Johnson, Kimberly (Pat) Etchie, Jamie Mehring, Gary Betz, Lesa (Ralph) Herman and Jason Gambill, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, brother Orville Buehrer and sister Norma (Sam) Childs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob, son Raymond Betz, daughter Roberta Betz, daughter-in-law Kathy Betz and brother Donald Buehrer.
Visitation will be held on Monday November 17, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 18620 Washington St. Tontogany, Ohio 43565. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tontogany Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Weston Church of Christ or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
