Phyllis Ann Brown born Phyllis Ann Ketron on January 4 1947 to Rader Bordie Ketron and Nell Vada Eaton, went to be with her Lord after a long illness on 19 Feb 2026.
Survived by husband Raymund L. Brown, ex-husband Ronnie Millhorn, brothers: Jack Ketron and wife Margie, Joe Ketron and wife Jean, and sister: Sue Nichols. Daughter: Beverly Hickman and husband Tony, son: Rondal Millhorn and stepdaughters: Leona Brown and Megan Hicks and husband Sean. Grandchildren: Emily Hickman, Isaac Darnell, Rochelle Darnell, Jacob Hicks, Alexis Hicks, and Skylar Hicks.
Phyllis was a member of Bethel View Baptist in Blountville, TN, Kingsport Baptist Temple and Westwood Baptist Church where she was the childcare coordinator until 2010. Phyllis had a great love for children and worked with them much of her life. She raised two families during her life. She had a great love for God and was active in church nearly her whole life. She taught Sunday school and worked with young women helping them grow and teaching them how to cook, sew, and other interests. She will be dearly missed by all she has come in contact with in her life. Rest easy in the arms of God beloved!
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel with Reverend David Kelly officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm prior to the service.
