Phyllis Ann Cooper, age 72 of Harriman passed away March 11, 2025. She was born in Virginia and is a graduate of Clinton High School. Phyllis was a devoted Marine Corp spouse. She supported her husband, Richard through many active military service years. Phyllis was a bio-hazard truck driver who later became a beloved school bus driver for the Michael Dunn Center and Harriman City Schools. She was a talented baker who also had a gift for sewing clothing. Phyllis gave so much love to her family and friends. We will miss her laughter and beautiful smile.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Cooper; parents, Tommy Ramsey and Florence Fields Ramsey; siblings, Shirley Ward and Billy Haun.
Survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Charles Daniels; son, Tommy Cooper; grandchildren, Justin Cooper (Abby), Joshua Stinnett (Jadelynne), and Jacob Stinnett; great-grandson, Colt Cooper; siblings: Edward "Bucky" Pridemore, William "Johnny" Pridemore, Shelia Haun, Teresa Haun, and Junior Haun; many beloved nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 21st at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville for graveside services.
