Phyllis Eberhart, 87, of Topeka, passed away on November 16, 2024 at Aldersgate the Gardens.
She was born on January 19, 1937 to Claude and Letha (Glenn) Cook in Kansas City, KS.
Phyllis was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife and mother of two rambunctious boys. She enjoyed quilting, crochet, sewing and knitting.
On December 6, 1956, she married Charles Edward Eberhart in Topeka, KS. After a brief stay in Texas, where Charles did his military training, Phyllis and Charles returned to stay in Topeka, Kansas. They often traveled together to attend antique automobile shows throughout the United States.
She attended Women’s Circle at the Oakland Methodist Church and was a member of the antique automobile club of Lawrence.
Phyllis is survived by her loving husband; Charles, son; Johann Eberhart and his spouse Mary Swartz, and brothers; Richard Cook and Virgil Cook, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her father; Claude Cook, mother; Letha Cook, son; Kurt Daniel Eberhart, and brothers, Leo Cook, and Edward Cook.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, 11:00 am at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, Kansas 66604, with Rev. Rick Hodge, officiating.
Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Gardens, 820 SW Auburn Road, Topeka, Kansas 66615 immediately following services.
