Throop Funeral Home, Inc.Phyllis Jean Resnick, age 85, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025. She was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Edgar and Henriette (Rosenfield) Fassburg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lester Resnick. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, taking care of her horses in her younger years, doing word find puzzles and singing in the choir. She will be deeply missed by her children, Karen Wilkes and fiancé Don Turner, Steven (Sonia) Resnick; grandchildren, Tyler Wilkes, Jonathan (Brandon) Resnick, Ashely Resnick; great grandson, Julian Velazquez; brother, David (Terry) Fassburg and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Coopersville Reformed Church Activity Center, 423 W Randall St, Coopersville, MI 49404.
