Benson, NC: Mrs. Phyllis Baker Hall, age 75, of Benson passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025 at her residence with her family by her side. A Memorial Service will be held-5:00 PM Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Overflow Church in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Chris Searles.
Mrs. Hall was born on November 14, 1949 in Harnett County to the late Cecil Everette and Etheleen Smith Baker. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Hall was a strong Christian lady who brought joy to her family. She made her house a home and was a wonderful wife and mother. Her favorite word was love and that is what she showed to everyone. Her family, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren will love her always.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Billy Ray Hall; son, Timothy Ray Hall; daughter, Amy Hall Raab and husband, Matt; grandsons, Jonathan Raab and Justin Raab; great granddaughters, Luna Raab and Nora Raab; sister, Stephanie Daunoy and husband, Jay; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Baker and wife, Gail and Marcus Perry and wife, Maria; her closest friend, Diane Pearce; and brother-in-law, J.W. Hall and wife, Ann.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 prior to the service at Overflow Church.
