Phyllis Hall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Adams Family Funeral Home & Crematory - Scottsburg on Dec. 16, 2025.
Phyllis Ann Hall (Crum) age 59 of Sellersburg, Indiana peacefully passed away November 21st, 2025 after several months of battling cancer. She was born January 25th, 1966 to the late Eva (Berry) and Phillip Crum.
Phyllis' life was never an easy one. In 1974 when she was just 8 years old she was involved in an accident that left her paralyzed from the chest down, but it never stopped her from living a fulfilling and independent life. She was the heart of her home and a treasure to her friends. She created an environment of open communication and unconditional support empowering her children to pursue their dreams.
Phyllis graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1984. Most of her career was a stay at home mom while also running a small in-home daycare. She has also worked at Jim ONeal Ford of Sellersburg and New Directions Housing Corporation and she volunteered to run the voting booths during elections. She was a member of Speed Memorial Church. She was a Past Honored Queen and Majority Member of Job's Daughters International Bethel 73 Sellersburg.
Phyllis was married to Arvel Hall from 1984-2010. She is survived by their 2 children: Nicholas Ray Hall and Kimber Lorene (Corey) Kirkpatrick. She was known as "Gooka" to her grandchildren: Jessilynn, Brantley, Carter, Tidus, Amelia, James, and Maxwell.
She is proceeded in death by her father Phillip Crum, mother Eva Lorene (Berry) and sister Janice Pearl Hill.
A celebration of life is planned for a later date.
