Gail Driver Harper, 77 of Smiths Grove passed peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends.
The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Louie E and Lera Stinson Driver. She was the wife of the late Edward Thomas Harper and preceded in death by one son, Thomas Guy Harper, a great granddaughter, Landrey Paige Basham, two brothers, Darrell Driver and Clifton Driver, three sisters, Sue Park, Shirley Donta, and Sharron Driver. Phyllis was in Human Resources at Country Oven Bakery. She was one of the founding members of her “Golden Girls” monthly group. Phyllis was a proud member of COB retirees monthly lunches. These groups gave her so many memories and smiles. She loved them all dearly and was always a highlight.
Her survivors include her daughter, Sandra Harper Guillot (Kevin); two granddaughters, Brandi Nicole London (Jeremy) and Jordan-Gail Huddleston (Justin); four great granddaughters, Bailey Marie Herald (Fiancée, Connor), Addison Harper Abney, Jocelyn Laila London and Emma Huddleston; five great grandsons, Gradie Layne Abney, Logan Wade Huddleston, Greyson Matthew Huddleston, Jayden Lee London and Jackson London; and one great great grandson, Finn Lee London; three brothers, Terry Driver (Lavone), Michael Driver and Ricky Driver (Donna); two sisters, Debbie Gerlach and Myra Britt (Larry); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she loved dearly and several in-laws
There will be a visitation from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Brownsville. The family will honor her wish to be cremated after the visitation.
The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hardy & Son Funeral Home for funeral expense.
