Wanda Lee McGee Jennett, passed away at 10:15 a.m. on February 24, 2026, at Hopkins Center in Woodburn. Born in Logan County, KY, on August 1, 1942, to the late Robert “Buck” McGee and Betryce Brasher McGee Morgan. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Roy L. Jennett; a brother, James (Billie Faye) McGee; and her stepfather, Willie “Bill” Morgan.
Wanda is survived by two daughters, Robin T. (Perry) Lawrence and Denise (Rex) Board both of BG; a son, Lynn (Becky) Thompson of Auburn; a granddaughter, Amber Leigh Lawrence of BG; three grandsons; Robert (Kelly) Thompson of Auburn; Kerry (Cristina) Thompson of BG; Jimmy Dan (Nina) Board of Apex, NC; eight great grandchildren; Damacio, Haylo and Lorenzo Pinky Thompson; Airelle Haynie, all of Auburn; Ian and Sophia Thompson, both of BG; Jack and Cal Board, both from Apex, NC; a brother, Ronnie (Judy) McGee of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews.
Wanda retired from Aramark Services and the Warren County Justice Center and was a member of Forest Park Church.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Hardy & Son, Bowling Green Chapel.
