Phyllis Marie Hoshauer

Phyllis Marie Hoshauer, 60, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2023 at the Reading Hospital. She recently retired from CNA Insurance Company to enjoy time with her husband, Thomas Hoshauer and their two beloved Doodles, Harley and Chloe. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Tom, daughters, Leanne Quire and Kimberly Rodriguez, her granddaughter Maya Rodriguez and her sister and brothers Deborah Pullen, Thomas Strauss and Steven Schell as well as her two step daughters and many step grandchildren. Phyllis was well known for her beautiful laugh and lively spirit that lit up a room whenever she entered with her stunning blue eyes and positive energy. She also was a motorcycle enthusiast and animal advocate. The family finds comfort knowing she is reunited in heaven with her mother, Gloria Strauss, father Raymond Strauss, brother, L. Frédérick Strauss and her lifetime of pets whom she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers please donate to your local animal shelter in honor of Phyllis and the pets both current and past that she cared for. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Phyllis and the joy she brought into so many lives.
