Phyllis Keller I.

Phyllis I. Keller, 86, of Sheldon passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Heritage Woods in Watseka. She was born on February 15, 1935 in Logansport, IN, the daughter of W.A. and Evelyn (Peck) Davidson. She married Clarence A. Keller in Kentland, IN on September 5, 1953 and he preceded her in death on March 19, 2007.
Surviving are two daughters, Jill Keller of California and Penny (Gary) Carter of Sycamore, IL; two sons, Scott (Alison) Keller of California and Guy (Gisele) Keller of California; two brothers, Jack Davidson of Highland, IN and Jerry (Rory) Davidson of Crown Point, IN; and five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; and one sister in law, Patricia Davidson.
Phyllis was an entrepreneur of sorts and wore many hats. Over the years, she ran a diner, was a Scout Leader, served on the Sheldon Village Board, and was a florist her whole life. She helped her husband in several business ventures and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the entire staff at Heritage Woods in Watseka for their great care of Phyllis.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka. Rev. Brent Zastrow will officiate. Burial will follow in Sheldon Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Knapp Funeral Home in Watseka.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sheldon Fire Dept. and EMS Services.
