Phyllis Jean Kinney

Phyllis Jean Kinney, born on November 3, 1934, in Wheeling, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2026, at the Country Club Rehabilitation Campus in Bellaire, Ohio. She was 91 years old.

Phyllis dedicated her life to her family as a devoted homemaker. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love were the cornerstones of her home, where she created a warm and welcoming environment for all who entered.

A faithful member of the Lincoln Avenue Methodist Church in Shadyside, Ohio, Phyllis found solace and community within its congregation. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing strength and comfort to those around her.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kathryn (Beckendorf) Brewer; her father, Edward Brewer; and her step-son, Richard Kinney. She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Gerald Kinney; her son, Marc Jackson, and his wife, Jennifer; her daughter, Jana Gardner, and her husband, Jeff; and three cherished grandchildren.

During this time of mourning, they find solace in the many fond memories shared with Phyllis and the lasting impact of her gentle presence in their lives.
