Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Augusta, MN. Phyllis was born in Monticello, MN on June 1, 1927 to Clinton and Ada Gould. She grew up in the Monticello area graduating from Monticello High School. After high school, she went to Miss Woods Kindergarten Primary and Training School in St. Paul. She taught in Long Island, NY for a year and substituted for the Monticello and Elk River schools. Phyllis also worked as a receptionist at Hart's Hospital. She married Gordon Link in August of 1948, and they had 5 children. Her belief in the Lord was unwavering and she showed her strong devotion through her attendance of bible studies and teaching in the School of Religion at St. Henry's Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Methodist Church until her death. Phyllis is reunited in heaven with her husband Gordon; parents Clinton and Ada; sons William, and Thomas; and many other loved ones. She is survived by her children Brenda of Anoka, MN, James of Austin, TX, and Mary of Monticello, MN; sister Sandee of Howard Lake, MN; 5 grandsons; 5 great-grandsons; sister-in-law Pam; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred in Phyllis's name to Quiet Oaks Hospice House, 5537 Galaxy Road, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
