Phyllis Martinell

Phyllis Martinell (DeAngelo), age 84, of Media, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.

Phyllis lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and love. She had a gift for making every moment special, whether she was gathered with family, laughing with friends, or celebrating life's simple pleasures. Her greatest joy was being with the people she loved, and she cherished every moment spent together.

One of her true passions was photography. With her camera always nearby, she captured thousands of moments-big and small-of her family and friends. Her kitchen slideshow of treasured memories became a favorite for all who visited, a beautiful reflection of the life she lived and the people she loved. She turned her photographs into heartfelt birthday cards and thoughtful gifts, always making others feel seen and celebrated.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chuck, whom she cherished deeply and missed every day.

She will be forever remembered for her laughter, her fun-loving spirit, and the way she made everyone around her feel special. Phyllis leaves behind her brother, Edmund (Anna), and joins her late sister, Linda (Phil), in eternal rest. Survived by her children, Patty Dannaker (Rich) and John Green (Eileen) as well as her grandchildren, Tommy, Alyssa, the late Christine, Rachael, Taylor, Courtney, Jason and her great grandchildren, Harper, Nevi, Jaxon, Wesley, many nieces, nephews, cousins, along with countless friends who were blessed to share in her light.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10:15 – 11:30 a.m. at J. Nelson Rigby Funeral Home, 1 W. Baltimore Avenue, Media, PA 19063. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment Private. Condolences:jnelsonrigbyfh.com
