Phyllis Mosconi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 13, 2013.
Phyllis Jean Mosconi was a Loving caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on May 8, 1935. On June 23, 1951 she married Ludwig "Lud" John Mosconi and by 1963 they had 7 children. She was a GREAT Mom and Homemaker. Mom and Dad were there for us growing up. We could not have had better parents. In 1972 Dad was transferred to Texas and chose to live in Duncanville. Mom sure was homesick for Wisconsin. A few years later they had several grandchildren who kept them busy. Dad lost his battle with Cancer in November 1986. Mom has been lost without him, but had a strong will to carry on. She later had more grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren no matter the distance between them. In 1999 Mom battled breast cancer and beat it. She has been on dialysis since 2008 and has fought a good fight with it. She has been our Angel and will continue to be our Angel. Anyone that knows Mom knows how she loved to visit the casino once in a while. That brought her great pleasure. The other thing she loved to do was to go grocery shopping. It was like an outing for her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ludwig John; son, Gary; son, Brian and grandson, Christopher. Survived by her children David; Larry and wife, Penny; Patrick and wife, Lala, Richard and wife, Cathy; daughter, Jeannie. Grandchildren Holly, Tim, Shane, Jeri, Eric, Becky, Zandra, Samantha, Kelly, Stephanie and Briana. Numerous great-grandchildren.
