Phyllis Marlene Olson, the daughter of Chester and Gladys Smith, was born on October 3, 1939 in Burt, Iowa. She graduated from Titonka High School in 1958. On June 1, 1958, Phyllis was united in marriage to Dennis Eugene Olson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, dancing, putting puzzles together, and spending time with her grandson, daughter, and family.
Left to cherish Phyllis's memory are her husband of 67 years, Dennis Olson of Algona; daughter, Sherri (Jesse) Wise of Fenton, Iowa; grandson, Brandon Olson, of Ankeny, Iowa; and great granddaughter, Amelia Olson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Gladys.
