Mt. Taylor Funerals & CremationsPhyllis Reese, 82 of Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully at home on July 18, 2025. Phyllis was born on August 29, 1942, in Beckley, West Virginia, to Lola and Nathan Lusk. She lived most of her adult life in Grants, NM, and was the proprietor of Phyllis’ Ceramics and Dolls.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Reese. Her two daughters survive her. Carolyn Reese and her two children, Katelyn Reese and Kurtis Reese. Barbara Cooper, Charles Cooper, and their daughter Malie Cooper.
She is survived by her brother, Gary Pearson; her sister-in-law, Marianne Lusk; and her daughters, Linda and Brandy.
There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, July 29, at 9:00 am at Grants Memorial Park, located at 500 W Roosevelt Avenue Grants, New Mexico 87020.
