Phyllis Ann Rouse, 74 of Paducah, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at her son's home in South Fulton, Tennessee.
She was a member of House of Hope Ministries and a former member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah.
She retired as leasing and property manager at the Jackson House and W.B. Sanders Retirement Home.
Preceding her in death were her spouse, Leon Rouse; her parents, Mary Margaret Williams Rucker and Charles Alexander; her stepfather, William Rucker; two brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren.
She is survived by her only son, Reginald Copper Jr. of South Fulton, Tennessee; two daughters, Jacqueline Copper and Regina Carter, both of Paducah; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul "Butch" Alexander of Cottage Grove, Tennessee, and Michael Alexander of Peoria, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, March 3, at House of Hope Ministries with Rev. Michael Pryor officiating.
Friends may call from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, March 4 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
