Phyllis Samuels Obituary
Phyllis worked as a waitress and she loved visiting with friends, crocheting, playing cards and bingo.
On July 16, 1947, she married James H. Samuels in Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1995.
Phyllis is survived by her son, James (Steve) Samuels and his wife, Heidi; three grandchildren, Kelly Chappell (Steve), Robin Ginkel (Jeff), Tara Thomas Gage (Jon); five great-grandchildren, Reagan, Jack, Nash, Meg, and Harlan; one sister, Carol Parsons and numerous nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, Emery, and Alpha; her husband, James; one daughter, Linda Thomas; one granddaughter, Stacey Thomas; two sisters, Gladys Swetnam and Pauline Anika and two brothers, Elvin Oldham, and Harold (Pete) Oldham.
A graveside service, under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, Missouri.
