Phyllis Taylor Obituary
Phyllis was born on August 19, 1939 to Herma and Beckham Ritchie in Dwarf, KY.
Phyllis graduated from Hindman High School. Phyllis moved to Lexington, went to work and retired from Square D company with over 25 years of service.
Phyllis was a member of the Lexington Primitive Baptist Church for over 50 years.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Herma and Beckham; a sister Nancy Jane Hodges, a brother Adam Ritchie.
Phyllis is survived by her son Chester Taylor; daughter in law Michelle Taylor; two granddaughters, Cassidy and Kendall Taylor.
Funeral services 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Lexington Primitive Baptist Church 4574 Old Schoolhouse Lane Lexington, Kentucky 40513. Visitation from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Lexington Primitive Baptist Church. Lexpbc.org

I will always remember walking into Morning Pointe and seeing Phyllis on the chair near the fireplace, smiling at me. I enjoyed meeting Phyllis and getting to know her and spending time with her. We took walks together and she would tell me about her life. I'll miss her bunches.
