Phyllis Thomas Obituary
Phyllis Ellen Thomas, age 72 of Munfordville passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was the CFO of Hart County Realty. She was the past President of The Munfordville Woman's Club and past Vice President of Hart County Tourism. She enjoyed being Nana to her family and she could make a calculator sing. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.
She is the daughter of the late Hugh Morgan Jr. and the late Ellen Jordan Morgan.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Sherry Yates.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Thomas of Munfordville; one son, Paul Thomas and his wife Carrie; one daughter, Becky Riordan and her husband Patrick; six grandchildren, Chase Thomas, Levi Thomas, Cody Riggs (Nicollette), Clay Riordan (Mackenzie), Crandon Riordan (Chandrika), and Travis Shuffitt (Stacy); six great-grandchildren; one brother, Doug Morgan (Connie) also survives.
The family will receive friends from 2:00- 8:00 PM CT on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 and again from 9:00- 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CT on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Brooks Funeral Home with Bro. Ronald Riordan officiating. Burial will follow at the Munfordville Municipal Cemetery.
