Phyllis Jean Turner Bradley, age 76, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Saturday January 20, 2024, with her husband by her side. She was born on March 18, 1947, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Elmer and Opal (Trent) Turner. Phyllis grew up attending the Dodds Pentecostal Church of God in Waynesville. Phyllis and her husband, Carl, owned and operated the Industrial Container Company in Lynchburg for over 50 years. She enjoyed working the routes with her husband and getting to know all their customers. She loved her family, life, and she will be greatly missed. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Carl Bradley of Lynchburg; two daughters, Kim Bradley, and Mary Frances Bradley both of Dayton; a granddaughter, Nicole Bradley; two brothers, Norman (Linda) Turner of Miamisburg, Keith (Mike Godsey) Turner of Madison Township, and several aunts, nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl (Sherry) Eugene Bradley. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday January 25, 2024, at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday January 25th at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery following services.
