Phyllis A. Villemaire

Phyllis Ann Villemaire of Marshfield, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2026, just shy of her 86th birthday, surrounded by family. She was born in Everett, MA, the cherished daughter of Albert and Blanche (Gibeau). She grew up and lived in Somerville until her retirement. Phyllis enjoyed traveling with a close-knit group of friends, forming friendships and memories that enriched her life at Eastover and at Lakehouse in CT. Later in life Phyllis pursued and earned her Bachelor's Degree in accounting from Bunker Hill Community College, something she was very proud of. She spent her professional career in accounting for GTE/Sylvania/General Dynamics until retiring in 2003 and moving to the Cape. She gave her time as a volunteer at the Dennis Senior Center, the Dennis Harwich Lions Club, and the Village Garden Club of Dennis.

Phyllis is lovingly remembered by her brother Edward and sister-in-law Donna. She was the Favorite Auntie to her nephews Mark Klicker and his wife Elaine, and Pete Klicker and his wife Kathy, as well as to her nieces Diane Hugyo and her husband Mike, Joanne Smith and her partner Bill, Amy Murray and her husband Jim, Trudi Meech and her husband Greg, Michelle Crest and her husband Dave, Kristi Angus and her husband Jon, and Jeannie Belew and her husband George. Phyllis is also survived by her daughter Beth Kruk and her husband Jeff. In addition to her immediate family, she leaves behind many great and great-great nieces and nephews, all of whom were dear to her. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Shirley Klicker, her brother Richard and nephews Karl and Kurt Klicker.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to11:00 a.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street in Marshfield. Interment will be in the Couch Cemetery in Marshfield.
