Phyllis Wilder Obituary
Phyllis was born on April 20, 1945, in Rockford, IL the daughter of Nicholas and Gertrude (Lester) Roland. She married the love of her life, Glen, on August 20, 1966 in Rockford. He passed away on November 10, 2001.
Phyllis retired from Twin Disc. In 1983 where she worked for 18 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Rockford. Phyllis volunteered at Diana's Angels making infant burial clothes for grieving parents and also enjoyed gardening and sewing.
Phyllis is survived by her step-children, Sandra (Gene) Onley, Gordon (Luci) Wilder, Doug (Carol) Wilder, Cheryl Wilder; sister, Patricia (Dan) Caccia; brother, Carl Roland, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen, parents, and siblings, Michael Roland, Chuck Roland and Paul Roland.
