Gloria E. Silberman, 91, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Born to Clayton and Edith (Fritzenmeier) Silberman on August 30, 1934. Gloria was a member of and deacon at Third Presbyterian Church in Rockford. She was an avid reader, having listed thousands of books she read throughout her lifetime.
She is predeceased by her parents; siblings, Ruth (Glenn) Lewis, Carol Schauer, Merrill Silberman, Ed Silberman, Don Silberman, and Bob Silberman. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sue Silberman; nephews, Steven Silberman, Kevin Schauer, Ed Silberman, Jason Silberman, Warren Silberman, Bruce (Sue) Silberman; nieces, Catherine (Rich) Vernam, Victoria Conn, Anne Marie Gallego, Anya Silberman, Natalie Silberman, Emily Silberman, Sue (Dave) Blasi; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
