William Joseph Silberman passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on May 18, 1937, William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane. Their partnership was defined by love and laughter. He is survived by his children, Karen and Susan; his sons-in-law, Jose and Chris; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Hannah, Michael, and Adam.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on February 4 th at 11:00am at the Louis Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jewish Home at Rockleigh in his memory.

My memories of Uncle Bill began as a youngster during our monthly trips to Patterson. "Little Bill" provided endless humor and was always able to lighten the room. I´ll never forget going to Rangers and Giants game's along with being honored to drink from the "mucket- bucket" tailgating. Great times at the beach in Lavallette, Bill & Jane were always open and welcoming and helped me through some rough patches in my younger days a that I´m forever grateful for.
Karen, Susan and family our best thoughts and condolences are with you.
Aunt Jane and Uncle Bill maybe gone, however will never be forgotten and always in our hearts.
