Phyllis L. Wilson, 95, passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024.  She was born in Akron and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 65 years.  Phyllis worked as an office manager for many years alongside her husband in their business, Wilson Tile.  She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church, Bud & Bloom Garden Club of Cuyahoga Falls, the Cuyahoga Falls Woman’s Club, and a past volunteer at the Coleman Foundation.  

Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Wilson, and 4 siblings.
She will be dearly missed by her children, David (Pamela) Wilson of Kent, Caron (Randy) Slusser of Akron and Mark (Rhonda) Wilson of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Matt, Scott, Sarah, Maggie, Kyle and Kaitlin; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Barnhart of Ravenna; sister-in-law, Doris Irwin of Ridgewood, NJ; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 11:30 am-12:30 pm at Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221, immediately followed by a funeral service at 12:30 pm.  She will be laid to rest at Rose Hill Burial Park, Akron.  Following services, the family invites friends and family back to the Burntwood Tavern, 2291 Riverfront Parkway, Cuyahoga Falls from 4:30-6 pm.

In lieu of other remembrances, memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 or the Coleman Foundation, 5982 Rhodes Rd., Kent, OH 44221.
