Pida Hay Obituary
He was born on August 5, 1983, in Phom Phen, Cambodia, the son of Sar Sa Hay and Heng Sreychea.
Known to most as Pida, he worked as a nail technician at Jaylee Nails in Ashland. Before moving to the United States, he served as a police officer with the Border Patrol in Cambodia.
Pida was a devoted father who loved his children deeply. He enjoyed playing sports with them, taking trips to the ocean, and spending time together as a family. His happiest moments were those spent with his family and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Danhphina "Jane" Hak of Ashland; their children, Jayden Hay, Jaylee Hay, and Jensen Hay; his brother, Mompido Hay; and a sister.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Steen Funeral Home, 13th Street Chapel, with a service beginning at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Chaplain Peter Lunsford.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Steen Funeral Home to help offset expenses.
