Pierre J. St. Laurent

Pierre J. St. Laurent, 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Christopher House in Worcester. He was born in Drummondville, Quebec, the beloved son of Raoul and Romea (Chapdelaine) St. Laurent and resided in Framingham, Paxton, and most recently in Webster.
Pierre graduated from Drummondville High School and honorably served in the Royal Canadian Navy. Upon relocating to the United States, he dedicated over 25 years of service at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham as an operating room attendant. Pierre was known for his fervent passion for long-distance running, having participated in marathons in Boston, Paris, Quebec, and various other cities. Even into his seventies, he continued to pursue his love for running, transitioning to long-distance walking in later years. An avid fan of all New England sports teams, Pierre cherished time spent with his family, relishing every moment with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his wife of 39 years, Carol A. (Bergstrom) St. Laurent in 2021, Pierre will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his son, Peter St. Laurent, and his wife, Mary Beth of Webster; stepsons, J. Scott McLean and his wife, Christie of WA, and Barry McLean and his wife, Lorie of Holden; stepdaughters, Sandy Farren and her husband, Michael of Lancaster, and Sue McLean – Peris and her husband, Ron of Shrewsbury; brother, Richard St. Laurent, and his wife, Audrey of VT; sisters, Rae Michelle Holmgren and her husband, Bruce of Hopkinton, and Helene Glew and her husband, Robert of NM. Pierre was also preceded in death by his son, Dennis St. Laurent and his daughter, Susan Cuffe.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend memorial calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A memorial service in celebration of Pierre's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton.
