John Crook
Preather Norman "John:" Crook, age 90, beloved husband of Brenda Joice Harris Crook, passed away November 27, 2025. John was a native of Polk County, retired from Michelin Tire, a retired Barber, a US Army Veteran and a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
Those preceding him in death include his parents Ralph Lee Crook and Myra Jane Green Crook; grandson Matthew Crook; siblings Max, Raymond, Ernest, Jake, and Edward Crook, Maxine Wilkins and Daisy Hudgins.
In addition to his wife Brenda, he leaves to cherish his memory his sons Barry and Darron Crook; and grandson Michael Crook; great grandson Kandon Thompson and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday December 3, 2025 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Dr. David Jendry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service. Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the Crook family.On line condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com.
