Lonnie Crook, age 68, from Montezuma, Georgia, passed away on November 24, 2025.
A funeral service will be held at 2pm on November 28, 2025 at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Ga. Visitation will be held an hour prior.
Mr. Crook was born on July 9, 1957 to the late W.D. Crook and Emma Eva Youngblood Crook. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outside, and working on vehicles. He retired from Southern Pecan Orchard which he worked at for over 30 years.
Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Crook; six siblings, Dub Crook (Nancy), Retha Daniels (Ricky), Tom Crook, Catherine Johnson (Wayne), Linda Bridges, and Ronnie Crook (Kathy); two children, Teresa Crook Arnett (Tim) and Kimberlie Crook; two grandchildren, Timothy Lynn Arnett Jr. and Lilly Marie Crook; one great-grandchild, Timothy Lee Arnett; and one grand-puppy, Pebbles. He is preceded in death by his parents, W.D. and Emma Crook; and two sisters, Barbara Crook and Emma Jean Hancock.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.
