Precious Eileen Fleming

Precious Eileen was born in Deep Waters, Anguilla to the late Cedric Petty and Ann Elizabeth Petty on June 5, 1939. She passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026 at the age of 86 years.

While her given name was Precious, she disliked that name. Those who knew her best knew she much preferred-and exclusively used the name Eileen throughout her life.

As a mother of six-three sons and three daughters, Eileen took on the monumental task of raising her children and caring for her mother, Ann, with unwavering dedication. Eileen gave her all to those she loved and sowed into anyone in need that crossed her path.

Today, we honor Eileen-her hearty laugh, her devotion to her Creator, her cute bow legs, her whining skills -you know she loved to dance, and her love for life. She finished the race with vigor and style; mom we salute you!

Those who are left with cherished memories of her are her sons; George Niles, Bevon Niles, Andrew Niles, her daughters; Marva Niles, Yvonne Africa-Richardson, Flora Debrick, her one and only brother; Nelson Petty Sr., sons-in law; Antoine Debrick, Wayne Richardson, daughters-in law; Mirrlees Williams Niles, Filomena Niles, 10 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, and 5 Nephews.

Close friends, Jane Hyman, Maria Martin, Alice James, Valdora Hazel, and many relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
