Prentiss Ester Fletcher went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at his home in Florence, MS. He was 64 years old. The family will receive friends and extended family for visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024, and again on Thursday, September 5, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 with burial following at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS.
Prentiss was born on September 16, 1959, to Clinton Fletcher and Sallie Curtis Fletcher in Jackson, MS. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He also had a passion for working on trucks and participating in any kind of racing. Prentiss was a man that spoke his mind. He was real. He also loved his fur babies, Shadow and Coco. He will truly be missed.
Prentiss was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Linda and sisters, Bobbie, and Vivian. He is survived by his son, Curt Fletcher (Meagan); daughters, Michelle Haley, and Sondra Passons; grandchildren, Waylan Fletcher, Ada Fletcher, Andrew Jeffcoat, Kristy Jeffcoat, Peyton Farrish, and Presley Farrish; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Timmy Fletcher, and sisters, Sharon Jordan, Lynn Best and Kathy Rodgers.
