Preston Ariel Johnson

     Preston Ariel Johnson, age 32, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at his home. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2025 in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor James “Jim” Petty and Pastor Brian Enlow. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the funeral home and other times at the home of Faye Mangum, 92 L&M Ln. Bethune, SC 29009.

     Preston was born on January 8, 1993 the son of Randall Ariel and Amy Blackwell Johnson. Preston was a talented young man with an incredible knack for building and fixing anything he set his mind to. He loved spending time outdoors; whether he was riding his side-by-side, working on his Bobcat, or flying his R/C airplanes. He also enjoyed relaxing with a good video game.

     Preston was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lovelle & Mary Blackwell; paternal grandparents, Ariel Watford & Frances Johnson; aunts, Mary Ann Walters, Carolyn Hopkins; Uncles, Mack Walters, Billy Mangum; and special cousin, Chris Keckley.

     Survivors include his parents, Randall Ariel & Amy Blackwell Johnson of McBee, SC; uncle, Thurmond (Jeannie) Blackwell; aunts, Faye Mangum of Bethune, SC; Marcia (James) Whitman of Heath Springs, SC, Miriam (Laverne) Brown of McBee, SC; granny, Sandy Beasley of McBee, SC; special uncle, Randy Parnell of McBee, SC; and numerous cousins.

     The family would like to express their gratitude to April Carter and Agape Hospice for their exceptional care and support throughout Preston’s illness.
