Preston, beloved father, husband, grandson, brother, and best friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 13, 2024. Preston was born in Ogden, Utah on May 31, 1999. Preston graduated from Bonneville High School in 2017. Preston began his lifelong career as a construction worker shortly after high school.
Preston met the love of his life, Kylie, in 2021. They were married on August 26, 2022. Preston was blessed with the most beautiful little girl, Ava, on June 7, 2022. Ava was and always will be Preston’s pride and joy. Preston loved his girls more than anything in life. Preston was an amazing husband and father. Preston loved nothing more than being with his family, camping, fishing, boating, and BBQs with family and friends. Preston’s love and joy for life will always be remembered.
Preston will be missed beyond words. Preston fought a heartbreaking battle with Melanoma. Preston was strong and brave until the last second. We will always remember Preston for his laugh, smile, and funny sense of humor. Preston had the special ability to make anyone feel loved.
The family wishes to extend our deepest thanks to Symbii Hospice, especially Jen, Melissa, Tim, Shanna, Michelle, and Dr. Coburn for the love and care they provided Preston in his final weeks. We are so thankful to the many family and friends who have been there for Preston during his battle. There are no words to express the heartache we feel. The family asks for privacy during this difficult time.

Preston is survived by his loving wife, Kylie; beautiful daughter, Ava; sisters, Tiffanie (Skyler), Sammantha, Marriah; brother, Luke; in-laws, Tiffany (Justin) Bingham, Shane (Chrissy) Wright; nephews, Mylo, Archer, and Jordy; nieces, Arie and Peyton; grandparents, LaRue and Lloyd Gallegos; best friends, Clyde, Gage, Aaron, Skyler, Caleb, and Brody; and many other dear friends and family. Preston was preceded in death by his grandma, Shawna, Aunt Jacki, and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
