He is survived by his mother and her husband, Jeanne Flinchum Jones (Gary); father, Robert "Bob" Preston Simms; sister, Stacy Simms; step-sisters, Kelly Schelling and Kimberly Guinness; nieces and nephews, Lily Schelling, Jack Schelling, Bryce Guinness and Maizy Guiness; and many other relatives and special friends.
The family is honoring Preston's request to forego funeral a traditional memorial service. A celebration of his life will be held in the coming weeks for his close family and friends.

I was saddened to hear of your loss. Please know how very sorry l am . Preston was a very special part of our family. I still remember his vibrant personality as a child.
