Preston Thomas Obituary
Other than his parents, Preston was preceded in death by two brothers, James Thomas, Johnny Thomas and one sister, Sue Etta Brock.
Preston is survived by two children, Bobby Thomas of Berea, KY, Michelle Lockridge of Crosby, TX, siblings, Phyllis Chasteen of Lexington, KY, Judy Tucker and her husband Mike of Paris, KY, special nephew and great nieces, Jay Brock and his wife Marian, Teresa Bruin, and Sandra Cash all of Cynthiana, KY, and beloved dogs, Butterball and Layla.
Visitation will be 9:30AM – 11:30AM Thursday October 20, 2022, at Davis & Powell Funeral Home with funeral service starting at 11:30AM. Rev. Wayne Miller will be officiating. Burial will follow at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Ky, with full military honors. Pallbearers will be Jay Brock, Brad Bruin, Mike Tucker, Chad Tucker, Brian Tucker, and Dustin Bruin.

I remember as a kid I would sit on Preston's lap I pulled his beard anytime he tried to talk to talk to anyone and I would say you only talk to me. He never got mad at me. He would always smile. As a kid I would cry and scream I want Preston. I remember he would always say where did u get your earings? I would say Wal-Mart. Then he would ask where did you get your dimple Marie? I would say Wal-Mart. He would smile. I seen him a few months ago and I am 33 now and he never forgot. out of no where he said where did you get your earings Marie? I said Walmart? Then he said where did you get your dimples Marie? I said Walmart. He smiled. He touched my heart. He has always been a dad to me. If I ever needed him he was always there for me. I love u William Preston Thomas. Thank you for everything. You will forever be in my heart. I will miss you
