Preston Trimble left this plane of existence at the age of 44, leaving behind a profound silence where laughter and love once filled every space. A devoted husband and an extraordinary father, Preston loved his wife Lauren and his two daughters, Layla and Nora, immensely. They were the center of his world.
Preston was a collector of all things—objects, ideas, memories, and he was the King of Halloween. His creativity knew no bounds; he was a brilliant artist whose imagination and passion showed in everything he touched. Whether through his art, his collections, or his unforgettable celebrations, he brought magic and wonder to those around him.
He was kind, endlessly funny, and had a laugh that could fill a room and linger long after it faded. Preston had a rare gift for making people feel welcome, seen, and valued, and his warmth left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
Though his time was far too short, Preston’s love, creativity, and spirit will live on in his family and in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Preston was born on July 29, 1981, in Little Rock, AR. He attended Little Rock Central High School and graduated from Hendrix College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is survived by his wife Lauren, daughters Layla and Nora, mother Lisa Phipps (Mark Phipps), father Grady Ellis Trimble (Dr. Michelle Ibsen), brother Nathan Phipps, sister Sara Malek, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory.
“He who was my companion through adventure and hardship is gone forever.”
