Betty Jean Smith aka “Ms. Betty”, passed away on February 12, 2026, at age 88, Betty was born on August 31, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Ben and Grace Ethridge.
Ms. Betty was a long-time employee at Razorback pizza and Shack BBQ. Cooking was her passion and some of her best dishes were her homemade cheesecake and potato salad. Ms. Betty was a loving and compassionate person; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it. She loved her two cats Charlie and Miss Kitty dearly.
Ms. Betty is predeceased by her sons, Tommy Zajac and Jimmy Zajac and her daughter, Tanya Montgomery. She is survived by her son Kenneth Zajac.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 AM with a funeral service to follow on February 19 2026, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street, North Little Rock, AR, 72114). A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM at Edgewood Memorial Park (4200 Division St, North Little Rock, AR 72118).
