Priscilla Stinson Allen, 71, of Sedgwick, Maine, passed away on September 21, 2025, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, following a long and courageous battle with congestive heart failure.

Born on March 4, 1954, to Phyllis and Vernard Stinson, Priscilla grew up on Swan's Island before making her home in Sedgwick after marrying Clarence Allen. Together, Priscilla and Clarence built a life rooted in family, service, and community. For many years, both were dedicated members of the Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department, where they could always be counted on in times of need. Priscilla especially enjoyed helping prepare food for the department's annual Car Show fundraiser, a tradition she took great pride in.

Priscilla is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Clarence Allen; their three children, Patrick and his wife Rachel, Nathaniel and his wife Rachel, and Jessica and her husband Derek Gray; five beloved grandchildren, Charlotte, Cole, Emersyn, Bailee, and McKenna; her cherished sister, Renee Allen and her husband Rick; along with many siblings-in-law, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Phyllis and Vernard Stinson.

Family and friends will remember Priscilla for her warmth, generosity, and love of traditions. She especially treasured her annual craft fair trips with her daughter Jessica and her best friend Millie Allen, her late evening chats with her sister, Renee, and the countless joyful hours spent playing with her grandchildren.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Eastside Center for Rehabilitation, whose kindness and care brought comfort to Priscilla during her final weeks.

A graveside service will be held 1pm, Sat., Sept. 27, 2025, at Rural Cemetery, Sedgwick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department. The family invites everyone to join in a celebration of Priscilla's life and asks that no mourning colors be worn.

Priscilla's life was one of love, service, and devotion. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
