Our beautiful mother Priscilla Claudette Bailey, 74, transitioned from this life to be present with the Lord surrounded in her home, by her family on February 28,2025
Priscilla was born November 26,1950 in Athens, Tennessee to the late Claude Bailey and Aileen Moore Bailey.
Priscilla is reunited with her son: Donald Eugene Bailey, Parents: Claude Bailey & Aileen Moore Bailey, Brother: Gray Moore, Grandparents: Arlin Sr. and Saurilla Robinson Moore, Great Granddaughter Janaya Z. Swain (Bailey), Aunts: Bernice Bailey, Louise Jenkins, Emma Lee Moore, Jimmie Linder, Ada Mae King, Wanda Moore, Nephew: Alvin Bailey Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories are her sons: Jermaine D. Bailey Sr. and Terrence Bailey Sr. both of Akron, Ohio. Godson Mark Perkins of Akron, Ohio. A dearly loved brother: Alvin (Gail) Bailey of Akron, Ohio. Grandchildren: Jermaine Jr, Travon, Brielle, Jermonte, Maize, Jaida, Tremaine, Ramaine, Shynin, Bailey, Tyce, Boss, Bentley, Terrence Jr, Tremaine, Terrean, Donald II, Skyler and Donajia. 13 Great Grandchildren. Host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Her Grace Cathedral Family. Special daughters: Rachelle Burley, Lashanna Wright, Marilyn McCail & Felicia Dandridge.
Priscilla was a devoted member of Ernest Angley Grace Cathedral, becoming a Bus Captain in 2005 and served until the Lord called her home. She worked for Western Reserve Psychiatric Hospital as a nurse for 31 year and retired in 2003.
Priscilla loved to bring her family together for a special occasions. Making her favorite dishes, potato salad, fried chicken, dressing, macaroni and cheese, green beans or bake beans, ribs depending on the holiday. She will be remembered for making her sweet potato pies which no one can ever make like she did. Her love for her beautiful yard which she planted flowers every year. Winning the award for best kept yard every year. The love she had for her sons, grandchildren and her brother Alvin and sister in law Gail.
