Priscilla Farias Monge Obituary
Priscilla Farias Monge passed away peacefully on February 7, 2026 at Mass General Hospital-six days before her 91st birthday.
Born on February 13, 1935 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic she was the daughter of the late Aquiles Farias and Carmen Monge Farias. Priscilla was predeceased by her husband Joseph and her brother Aquiles . She is survived by her sister Elinor, her sister-in-law Marie Christina, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.
After completing her education, Priscilla settled in Boston becoming a US citizen in 1961. She was a proud Dominican American. She enjoyed a 40-year career at John Hancock Insurance Company and after retirement spent more than 20 years at MGH as a volunteer in the radiation oncology department.
Priscilla was a woman of faith, reading from her Bible daily. She was full of life-bringing love, joy and compassion to everyone she met. She touched so many lives and will be forever missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Margaret Mary Church, 845 High St., Westwood on Friday February 20th at 11am. Interment will be private. Priscilla’s Funeral Mass will be live streamed at the parish website: Saint Joan of Arc Parish - Westwood, MA
